Not that I think that prostitution is a bad thing- I'm for legalizing it and regulating it with medical testing. However, since he was in an area where it wasn't legal and in a marital relationship where it seems that sort of thing isn't allowed (or if it is, it's kept quite secret), then the man shouldn't have been fooling around like that.

And since he was a DA then State Attorney General (who had been involved in the prosecution of a couple of prostitution rings himself!) he should have been a lot smarter (because he should have known that there was a chance of getting caught).

Supreme Court Justice David Souter's home targeted by Eminent Domain petition

The amusing thing is that the Souter was one of the 5 that ruled in favor of eminent domain (the ruling passed 5-4 last June).

Basically, a bunch of activists have gotten together and submitted a petition to take the judge's home under eminent domain and turn it into an inn, which would give the town more tax revenue and economic development than it would as the judge's house.

Legislator drops controversial plan

"State Sen. Patricia Miller, R-Indianapolis, issued a one-sentence statement this afternoon saying: 'The issue has become more complex than anticipated and will be withdrawn from consideration by the Health Finance Commission.'"

Um... complex? Now that's a candidate for the understatement of the year....
