Me at Judy's Seder- 2006 Ok, I'm tired and also feeling some effects from the wine... that's all I say.

I'm working on an icon from this.  Robin (the lady who took the picture), kept saying that I looked so cute.  The book I have in my hands was Hebrew for non-Jews (I forget the exact title).

It's a necklace that I've had for years...

It's a long quartz crystal that has a copper cage twisted around it. I think I have the process figured out, but I've not made one.

Take a circle of copper, cut 4 long strips up around the center (keep it solid and connected ) and some smaller strips in between. Take the long points and twist each one and bend them up to enclose the crystal. From one of the cut out parts of the circle make a T with really long and thin arms at the top and wind the arms around the top of the crystal/copper to keep the cage together and the wider base points up to act as the anchor for the cord. Take the smaller points, twist each, and bend them down. Twist and curl the various points up and down to make it look nice.
