Car update

Marnen and I went back to the UF hall when he got home.

He jiggled a couple of wires that he could see and it started to crank- and eventually started. Got to the garage, and turned off the car. Tried to start it again, same thing- it didn't try to turn over again.

So I wrote another note and put in the keys, and let the car at the garage again.

update: for those confused... I did get the car back on Thursday of last week. The garage looked at it and it started every time for them two days in a row. So I took it home and drove it Friday and Saturday during the day. I'm not sure if I posted this.

There are few things more frustrating than car problems. Grrr.

If he was jiggling the battery connections, the terminal connectors might be loose, or if there is any corrosion on them, that will make itu hard to get electric power to or from the battery. If you clean the metal, scape if so it is shiny, on both sides, & then put them back on tight, you might have some luck.

If not, it is some other problem, but I have fixed a bunch of cars with this simple solution.

The wires that Marnen jiggled are your clue. You have a loose electrical connection somewhere. My bet is somewhere in the wires going from the battery to the starter. I'd clean them with a wire brush (disconnect the negative battery terminal first), along with the battery terminals themselves.
