Roses was really good

I got to see a lot of people that I hadn't seen in a while. I got to know some people better then before. A whole group seemed to congregate around my tent. There are people that I was hoping to see there, but couldn't make it.

I taught a class/workshop- I wasn't late to it (I missed the class I taught last year by an hour). It went well.

I drank to those who have gone before us into the greatest unknown.

We all got rained on.

and now I'm coming down with a sore throat, just in time to run a high level mod for the local Living Greyhawk group tonight. Other individuals may want to take this as a warning as well.

They made it... already!

So, after talking with Marnen and sorted out the fact that yes, we'd both like to run D&D in the future (and likely Living Greyhawk modules) I ordered the Dungeon Master Guide and Monster Manual from Amazon.com.

I opted for the free shipping, which had a delivery estimate of 5/16/06.

They came in today's mail.

*bounce*

but I have to go to sleep now.... so I can't bounce too much.

We have a copy of the Living Greyhawk Gazetteer on order as well and it's been shipped, and it's on it's way.

MEPACON leading my character to a Meta-Org?

Ok, while I was playing at MEPACON, one of the modules I played was Forrest of Ribbons. It introduced me to a new area, the Dreadwood, and I'm very interested in this area. And I think my character is very interested as well. There's a meta-organization of players/characters based out of the Dreadwood called the Dreadwalkers.

I've contacted the person listed as the contact for the Dreadwalkers and asked about more information and what mods to play to get into more contact with the group in character.
