Weekend update

collwenFriday- The Best Laid Plans...
Friday night, I had plans. I was going to bake a cake, make jello, get all the stuff together for the Meet & Greet on Saturday. I just got out of work, and got a call- my aunt was back in the hospital.
Several phone calls, a stop for a change of clothes, and I was heading up to Albany.
She's ok, after a fashion. It wasn't her heart, but her potassium bottoming out. She's still having some complications.

tetsujinnooni, chickipu_no_oni, auntiegrizelda, and squirrelmunk1 before getting some sleep.
Saturday- Meet & Greet and another change in plans
I got up early because I had to get back down to the Poughkeepsie area, pick up the stuff I didn't get Friday night, and pick up a cake since I didn't get the chance to make it, and get to the Mason's hall to set up tables and stuff before everyone got there. More about what happened will be in thesunmoon_wed journal later today.
One thing that did happen was I had a very tentative plan to visit the Stronghold because Marnen was going to be out of town. But various people were not up to a visit, so my plans changed. I ended up dropping my car off at home and going back up to Watervliet with Jon & Tersha.
Then I became a redhead. Basically Virginia and Tersha had extra color from turning Tersha into a redhead and I figured that I'd try it.
Then we went wandering around and looking for the redhead party that didn't happen. The three ladies then met up with Jon and Steve for food (the guys had been working on deck design for the Magic Pro Tour game they qualified for).
Sunday- Lazy Day
I got up late, then spent some time with Jon and Tersha, then we got brunch at Garcia's. Then we hit Joann's for a few things, and then got back for the Ars Magica game (in which they were rescuing my old character from some Fairy folk who had absconded with her spirit). I went through some of my RPGA stuff while waiting to leave for the train station. I got home, slept, and now I'm at work.
