and he's a little better, a little more coherant. He understands that he'll be in the hospital for a while now and seems ok with it.
The paranoid-schizophrenia is still there, but it's hard to get a handle on it with only having a few minutes over the phone

Mom says that now he doesn't have enough white blood cells, so they're trying to find out how to even his blood chemistry.

Today in the Unitarian Fellowship meeting (it's the summer, so it's not a regular service) there was a presentation/workshop on useing art for healing and spirtuality. I used it to get out some of the frustration and feelings about Ed as he's in the hospital. If I can get to a scanner that works I'll post what I drew...

Yesterday I went on a small hike with [livejournal.com profile] ioldanach to Bowdin Park.. nice park, nice long trail packed into a tiny area... a little too close to civilzation for our tastes (since we could hear things like a nearby ice-cream truck on the other side of dense trees), but it's only a few miles from the apartment. I'll have to go back there once a week or so- that should help my weight loss and getting in better shape over-all. Jeff, I hope to see the pictures soon. After that I went and saw Batman Begins (see previous post) and had dinner. Today I think I might escape from the heat and non-airconditioned apartment and go see Mr. & Ms. Smith.

I know it's a bit early, but do we want plan to get together to see Serenity (and pre-order tickets when possible)?

How does Middletown sound for a location (I have fandango bucks I can use there but aren't accepted up here)?
