Virginia.... you are *not* any of those things. And by not allowing comments on your journal is not going to prevent me from thwapping you on it.

Thwapping me about it doesn't prove any different than what I said.

I love you, Virgina, but sometimes I want the lead lined clue by 10 to knock some sense into you.

Ok, So you're not a size 2. Not many people are and many more others aren't. That does not mean you are fat. In fact, those who are size 2s obsess about their weight as much, or even more so, than the rest of us. Granted, we can all eat healthier, tone up, and in the process drop some pounds. If you want some help/pointers, let me know and I'll let you know what's worked for me (which, your milage will vary on how well it works for you).

So, you're not a genius. That doesn't mean you're an idiot or stupid. I don't see you in an institution or day program for mental incapability. You graduated college, which means you have to have a level of intelligence-- aka where you're actually some level of smart and not stupid. You also have some level of good judgement because you weren't barefoot and pregnant by 16. Or a drug addict. Or have caught some nasty disease.

And you're not a model. So what? Just like the dress size thing, not many people are models. That does not mean you're ugly. And think of it, significant number of models have to have thousands of dollars in plastic surgery to get that way. And then most pictures of them are airbrushed to no longer resemble the actual person.

Kids don't go screaming "what is that?" when they see you, do they? Didn't think so.

Hell, you keep telling me that I'm pretty and sexy. There are times when I want to smash every mirror around so I cannot look at the hideous creature I am. Or at least that I think I am at the moment.

But guess what, I'm not ugly. I'm never going to be on the cover of a magazine, but I'm not gross and ugly.

And NEITHER ARE YOU.

and I doubt that you will listen to a word I've just said, especially right now, because you aren't in the mindframe to listen.

So set this aside for when you can listen.

You graduated college, which means you have to have a level of intelligence I know a couple of people who are complete morons who have gone to and graduated from college. So if any idiot off the street can do it, it can't be that difficult.

You also have some level of good judgement because you weren't barefoot and pregnant by 16. Difficult since I was a virgin til I was 21. Not so much with the good judgement....but because I couldn't get laid even if I tried bribery. And the only reason I got any action was because the other party involved wanted to get laid, didn't matter by who. I just happened to be most available.

Kids don't go screaming "what is that?" when they see you, do they? No, but I've spent enough time being treated as a thing rather than a person because...well, I say again, I'm ugly as sin.

To some it is difficult to do well I was told by my former college to leave because I was not sucessfully completing my program. You went to a private college which in my opinion is more diffucult to graduate from than a State School.

An example of airbrushing can be found at http://www.fluideffect.com/ (which is down for maintenance right now). It has a flash program this company was using to demonstrate the impact their photofinishing artists could have. One of the galleries was supermodels, before & after touch-up.

So even models don't look like models half the time.
