how I got a ticket...

In a way, this is more for my own records for traffic court... But if anyone has an idea on how I should plead I'm all ears.

On a happier note...

yesterday there was a chili cook-off on the desk. I think I had the only vegetarian (in fact vegan) chili on there. There also were only 4 entries. There were 3 categories (best tasting, best name, and hottest) and I won the Best Name category. I had named mine TNT (Tasty N Tempting) Spicy Tempeh Chili. I don't know who won the other categories (ok, I think Steve from AstraZeneca got hottest... I had most of my heat on the side in the form of Sriacha, but the other chilies were really good so I'm not sure on the taste category).

Today is an autumn decoration contest. They also had a guess the # of candy corn in the jar and a Monday night football game.

It looks like the prizes are all the same- gift cards to Blockbuster. Now, if I were awake enough to watch videos when at home... cést la vié

Legislator drops controversial plan

"State Sen. Patricia Miller, R-Indianapolis, issued a one-sentence statement this afternoon saying: 'The issue has become more complex than anticipated and will be withdrawn from consideration by the Health Finance Commission.'"

Um... complex? Now that's a candidate for the understatement of the year....
