Legislator drops controversial plan

"State Sen. Patricia Miller, R-Indianapolis, issued a one-sentence statement this afternoon saying: 'The issue has become more complex than anticipated and will be withdrawn from consideration by the Health Finance Commission.'"

Um... complex? Now that's a candidate for the understatement of the year....

in the original article it was mention that this was part of a bill that had adoption rules reform and other funding things involved in it.

I'm still kinda curious why the Health Finance commission has to something to say about who gets to have a medical procedure not paid for by the state.
