How lucky I am

collwenTalking to Jon and Tersha on the way to Cantus rehearsal last night made me realize just how lucky I am.

marnen quite often, especially for the approximaly 100 miles distance between us.
Monday night he has rehearsal (Gilbert & Sullivan in NJ), and has so far come to me after rehearsal once, getting in at 1 am to sleep by my side.
Tuesday he is free, so he has been coming up to pick me up from work or meet me at Cantus rehearsal.
He spends the night with me, brings me to work on Wednesday, and often stays in the area to have lunch with me before going to gamelan rehearsal.
Thursday and Friday he stays downstate, since he has Gilbert & Sullivan rehearsal on Thursday and he plays for a ballet class Friday.
If he can, he comes up after the ballet class or at some point during the weekend, or I go down to him.
Which means we've been spending most of (if not all of) Saturday and Sunday morning together.
Every other Sunday he has a dance one of his groups plays for in NJ, so he has to leave about noon. But if it's not that week and he's up here he spends Sunday night with me and brings me to work on Monday before going back and playing for the ballet class again (and this week the ballet class has spring break, so he had lunch with me Monday).
Jon and Tersha reminded me that there are some couples in the same town that don't spend that much time with each other, or spend the night with each other as often as we do. Which makes me feel honored and lucky...
but right now even a day seems to be too much to be separated from him. Especially since he leaves in May to start the month on/month off tour set in Europe.
