With last night's weigh in, I lost another 2.2.
Just in time for Pennsic... not sure if I'll do better or worse (better because of all the walking, worse because of the different eating style. And 1 Pennsic crack and 1 fruity cobbler, and maybe the fries)
Start weight 272.8 Current 216.6 Net change -56.2
Start 6/9/04, 10% on 9/15/04 next goal - the next 10 lbs
Descending the decades: 270-6/23/04, 260-7/8, 250-8/15, 240-10/13, 230-4/13/05, 220-8/3

Date: 2005-08-11 08:05 pm (UTC)in the long run, what has been helping me is the desire not to be where I was when I started.
Find smaller goals, it helps make that bigger # at the end more managable.
Also, sometimes I've had my biggest losses on weeks when I didn't think I did well. Or I did better than I thought I had.

Date: 2005-08-15 11:20 am (UTC)For example- One of my big meals once or twice a week used to be buffalo chicken strips with an order of fries, and a half cup or more of sour cream (instead of bleu cheese) for both the strips and fries, with a lot of salt. Now I don't do that any more. I do have a subsititue, but even then I don't eat it often- tabletop grilled chicken dredged in a buffalo spice mix, with oven baked fries, a couple of tablespoons of low fat sour cream (more or less on the sour cream depending on the amount of chicken and fries), and some salt.
